There is no fundamental difference between man and animals in their ability to feel pleasure and pain, happiness, and misery- Charles DarwinIt was truly heart-breaking to see even in the 21st Century there are people in the world who enjoy hunting animals for pleasure and perhaps for ego-trips. Hopefully the passing away of Cecil after being killed brutally by Walter J. Palmer (a dentist by profession) , will raise awareness of morally unacceptability of killing innocent animals for absolutely no reason.
